After living with our kitchen as-is for seven months we decided to give it a little make over. The room is a bit dark and everything is brown (walls, floor, counter, cabinets, backsplash), so we were craving something a bit brighter and more modern. Here's how the kitchen looked just last week:
And here it is now, after step one of the makeover:
We're loving the change. It really makes the room look bigger and brighter. To complete the transformation, we're going to replace the tile backsplash with glass subway tiles that provide a bit more color. We're down to these two:

All the posts are great but Brie was most impressed with the MAKEOVER and has many Q's especially how was the changeover accomplished, Painted or refurbished?? The Laundry man was impressive and the huggie/kissie valentine day post may be a second sense about something that could change his status! The new NUDE cookie monster and the swimming and the rainy day filled out the new posts much to our pleasure. Posterity will be long on memories in Duffy Town, Yes indeed. love to all B&B
