Pilar

Long time, no post. Sorry about that. Between having some renovation done at the house, going on vacation, and having visits from both grandparents, we've had a busy few weeks. During that time we also said a tearful good bye to our wonderful nanny Pilar, who moved to Las Vegas to be with her family. We're so happy for her, but are very sad that we won't be able to see her smile every week anymore. She truly is like family.


Anna was especially close to Pili, so I suppose it's good that she didn't understand what was happening. Luke did seem to understand a bit, though he kept asking "when is Pili coming back?" 


We miss her very much already, but are happy to have her good friend Patty now watching the kids. Patty has been here a few times and the kids seem to be warming up, though Anna still looks around for Pilar when Patty walks in, so it will take a bit longer for her.
