Today we went for a hike with our friends the Greggs at Alta--one of our favorite places on Earth. Luke had a great time hiking (though mostly running) up the trail, climbing boulders, and laughing with his pal Ethan and E's sister Cady. And though we brought the backpack for Anna, she wanted to walk most of the time too. All four of the kids got a big kick out of swinging on a chairlift chair off season.
Much to our delight, both kids fell asleep in the car the minute we headed for home. It was a beautiful day and the wildflowers were in bloom. We're lucky to live in such a beautiful place!
Oh! those poor kids. Parents making them walk up steep cliffs just for the sake of some pictures. there must be some society that will eventually put a stop to this torture.
