This past weekend we went to Park City to escape from the SLC heat (it's been hitting 100 everyday for a while now) and to attend a couple of events: an outdoor concert on Saturday night, and the final stage of the Tour of Utah bicycle race yesterday.
Luke was most excited about staying in a hotel, as he always is. The kid loves hotels. Everytime we'd go out, he'd whine "I want to go back to mine hotel!" In addition to loving the hotel, both kids really loved this fire hydrant...
Even when Keith said "do you know how many dogs have peed on that?" they didn't flinch.
When you say "smile Anna" you get this (just like Luke used to do/still does)...
...or you get this serious/ fake pout look...
Did I mention that she got her first stitches? She even beat Luke, who was first stitched at 17 months. She fell and hit her head on the edge of the window sill. Since everyone asks, we're not sure how many stitches it took...Keith never counts when he's stitching up his children :)
Here's the race. Many of the top teams/ riders from the Tour de France and the Olympics were here for the 6-day stage race. It was a cool sight...
The Petersons came up to Park City to watch the race with us...
It was just another fun weekend in Utah!
