Last night we returned home from a 5-day trip to Gloucester, Virginia, where we spent time with all of the Duffy/Lawlors, plus Keith's cousin Ian and his family from London.
Kim & Declan have a great house on the Ware River (or, a really big creek that leads to the river), where we hung out on their great long dock, partied with their friendly neighbors (who all arrived by boat), went out on the boat and jet ski, caught & scarfed down fresh crabs, swam in their neighbor's salt water pool (Luke was swimming like crazy and even jumped off the diving board several times), and had lots of laughs. The house is 30 minutes from Williamsburg, VA, so we spent an afternoon there too.
It was a really nice long weekend with everyone in Keith's immediate family, just before Kim, Dec & the boys head back to Geneva for the school year.
It was great to see cousin Ian, his wife Jackie and girls Molly (14) & Shauna (10). The girls doted on Luke & Anna the whole time...
