Yesterday I chaperoned Luke's first school field trip, which was a hike in Millcreek Canyon. Teacher Terry (unfortunately she has branches blocking her face in the first pic) led the hike and Luke was right on her heels. He also led the charge scrambling up--and then sliding down--a steep hill. The kids had a great time walking in the woods, throwing rocks in the stream, collecting fallen leaves, and of course, eating snack alfresco. And the other parents on the trip were really cool, so it was a fun morning.
